Religion, China, January 2025
Buddhist temples, churches and cathedrals, mosques, religions are clearly visible in Guangzhou or Beijing...
I wanted to go to the Babaoshan Revolutionary Cemetery in Beijing but I couldn't go. The guard turned me away without really telling me if I was at the entrance of this cemetery or not.
I went to the Chaobai Cemetery in Beijing. The graves are lined up in a straight line, which is a bit different from Catholic cemeteries in France.
Surprisingly, the cemetery contains many animal statues. In addition, there are also two large pagodas in this cemetery.
To save space, I read that Beijing is experimenting with digital cemeteries. Simply because in the graves, ashes are deposited and not bodies.
