Gordes, France, March 2023
A nice walk with Alain and Philippe near Gordes in the Lubéron then a visit to the Abbey of Sénanque...
|
Gordes is really worth the detour but you should avoid the summer periods. The streets are narrow and taking pictures there remains difficult when there are too many people. The view is truly breathtaking.
Then, the Abbey of Sénanque, more precisely, the Abbey of Notre Dame de Sénanque. This Abbey is home to a community of brothers, living in the purest monastic tradition. This place is to be discovered especially when the lavender fields are in bloom.

There are still places where money and profit is not the priority. Thus, the "Café Républicain" is an association Law 1901. It is therefore an association which must not make a profit, with members paying a registration. .
Once the charges and salaries are paid, the remaining amounts are donated to charities.
A fine example in a world where money is king... To think about...

Note: With Alain and Philippe, difficult to compete. I take more touristic photos, I let the professionals do the rest…
