Already the name Middle Ages is strange. Wedged between Antiquity and the Renaissance, we have the impression that it was not a great period.
It was the period of the Merovingians, the Carolingians, the Viking attacks, the 100 years war. This period is rich in events.
The few photos are only a small representation of the time. There are no half-timbered houses in the photo. But I have shown some in other outings.
