Aqaba, Jordan, October 2018
A tourist town, the only one by the sea. As a result, the port terminal is huge. Every morning, around 5 a.m., the call to prayer is surprising, but you get used to it quickly. It started as soon as I arrived on Jordanian soil and in Aqaba, I no longer paid attention to it...

I walked a lot as usual and I prefer to get out of the tourist areas a bit. Besides, I didn't feel calm at one point because I found myself in a residential area where mostly men lived. Imagine a tourist in shorts, sneakers and a camera walking around this area. Fortunately, I smile constantly. I still avoided taking pictures in this area.
A big thank you to Farid for inviting me to a "sweet" outing outside the tourist area. I discovered a very good pastry shop which was crowded, with Jordanians, not tourists.
