I decided to take the motorbike for a ride. Direction: Meaux, a pretty town a few kilometers from the house. A peaceful city with a beautiful cathedral and especially the Episcopal Palace of Meaux with a magnificent exterior staircase.

The cathedral suffered the horrors of the revolution. All the heads of the statues were cut off as they represented royalty. This was explained to me by a priest to whom I asked the question. What a pity !!!
