Walk, Paris, May 2017
And there you go, I've taken a liking to my first photo outing in Paris. I go back for a walk and walk around Paris to take some shots...

A great walk in Paris where I was able to enjoy a beautiful day. I was able to see those famous padlocks that people put on bridges, lampposts. Everything is possible. Some even put on bicycle locks to hang their padlocks and again, others flourish.
Fortunately people don't throw the key in the Seine because that could cause a big pollution problem. But padlocks pose a security problem because a padlock alone is not very heavy, but with the quantity, it threatens some bridges. The town hall of Paris cuts it regularly.
In April 2018, the Paris City Hall removed padlocks from the Pont Neuf, at the foot of the statue of Henri IV, at the tip of the Ile de la Cité. Thus 40 tons of love padlocks were scrapped in two weeks.
