Diving, Le Pradet, France, July 2016
I had the opportunity to go diving in the Mediterranean near Toulon and more specifically at Le Pradet...
I have grouped together several days, the last of which was in July.
The first dive took place at the end of March 2016. Of course, the water was really not warm, 13°C (55°F) on the surface.
We descended to 30m (98ft) with water at 10°C (50°F). At this temperature, I was wearing a semi-dry 7mm (0.2p) wetsuit but despite that, the cold is felt. Fortunately, after 30 minutes, end of the dive... A hot chocolate was really welcome afterwards to warm up.
I had the opportunity to dive twice on the Gabinière, a very beautiful reserve off Port-Cros where groupers are very present. I was also able to dive on the Greek, a very nice wreck at 40m (131ft). If you have the opportunity, do the Gabinière and the Greek, these two spots are worth the detour.
