Diving, Propriano, France, September 2015
I had never dived in the Mediterranean. The temperature in early September was ideal, 26°C (78.8°F)...
What is particularly striking are the temperature changes during the dive, the thermocline. This is a frequent phenomenon in the Mediterranean. You go from 26°C (78.8°F) to 18°C (64.4°F) in an instant. It's getting cold... You can see it because the water is like a mirage, it looks slightly blurry.
Life was present, not as numerous as I had hoped but I was able to see some very beautiful things including a huge stingray.
