Empuriabrava, Spain, September 2013
You are in the tourist area par excellence. This city is best known for its huge marina. Many houses were built there but the real estate crisis went through there...
Many houses are resold. And like everywhere else in Spain, without a big capital you can buy houses.
It's not the places I like because I prefer the authenticity of the country. I don't like being among tourists. I like to discover a place testifying to the past of a country, of a city. Empuriabrava is a bit like La Grande-Motte, a new town geared towards tourism and above all money.
During my stay, the Terre de troubadours Festival was taking place in Castelló d'Empúries.
