Étretat, France, March 2013
Who says Étretat, says the cliffs but also the "Aiguille Creuse", made famous by the hero imagined by Maurice Leblanc: Arsène Lupin. This gentleman burglar only steals from the rich. He is also a private detective, helping especially women, with the help of his driver Grognard...

L'Eguille hollow served as a lair for Arsène Lupin, but was also his cave of Ali Baba. Fiction or reality... Many treasure seekers have sought access to the interior of the Eguille.
The cliffs of Étretat remain impressive, as you can see in the photos. You really have to be there at the foot to realize the height. Is an escalation possible, I think so, despite the rock which seems very friable.
You can also go for a walk in Saint-Valery-en-Caux. A very old town since the name of Saint-Valery-en-Caux appears for the first time in a document dating from 990, according to the charter in which Richard I, Duke of Normandy, grants part of his personal property to the abbey of Fecamp.
